  • AGM - Business Development

    Location: Hyderabad
    Travel: Moderate
    Reports to: Head Sales

    Roles and responsibilities:

    • Revenue and margin – Making sure each deal is meets pre-agreed criteria
    • Reporting to finance team – Prepare deal pipeline, revenue realization etc. to report to Finance team
    • Component compliance – Ensure that all components promised to a client at the deal stage/signing DPR stage are met and complied with, to avoid confusion at site
    • Ops support – Highlight and proactively address any execution challenges that could come up for orders; Proactively address any minor client related issues that come up at the site
    • Deal support – Support sales and CP managers on <50 kW size deals to quickly and efficiently close deals by coordinating with design team and vendors to ensure best price/performance option is given to client
    • Payment collection – Ensure payment from clients is being collected in a timely manner against every milestone. Report deviations to Sales Head and resolve in a timely manner.
    • Market intelligence – Regularly gather competitor intelligence from Sales/CP team and prepare recommendations for Freyr
    • SunPro+ – Ensure that clients are getting regular system updates on Customer App; Database management analyst will report to this position
    • Marketing Leads – Ensure that all marketing leads being assigned to sales/CP team is being followed up; There will be overlap here with the Marketing team also


    • Candidates with B2B Sales experience preferably in MSME segment including those from industry segments like: Cables, batteries, UPS, Wealth Management, Telecom will be considered.

  • Electrical Design Engineer

    The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for conceptualizing and detailed electrical designs of solar power plants (SPV) for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The candidate will also be responsible to support development, engineering, and construction for SPV ranging from 1kW to 5MW.

    Reports to: Manager – D&E
    Travel: Minimal

    Roles and responsibilities:

    • Independently create and optimize preliminary conceptual design layouts and schematics for grid-tied photovoltaic power plants and battery storage systems.
    • Assist sales team in interacting with clients and conveying technical details.
    • Coordination with the construction & commissioning team
    • Perform broad range of engineering calculations – and use of software tools
    • Use his/her experience to assist the project team in making design decisions and build consensus within the team.
    • Work cross-functionally with sales, project support team and installation teams.
    • Performing Site survey and Assisting site surveys.

    Mandatory Requirements:

    • BE/BTech. degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (MS/M. Tech. degree is a plus)
    • 3-5 years’ experience in design of solar power systems (2+ yrs experience in solar rooftop systems)
    • Strong AUTOCAD skills. Must be proficient in PVsyst/Helioscope/Aurora (or equivalent) and Google Sketchup.
    • Knowledge in Electrical/Mechanical and construction safety including training and requirements.
    • Must be proficient in preparing Bill of Material.
    • Must be proficient in preparing detailed Drawings.
    • Proficient with MS Office

  • Key Account Manager

    The Key Account Manager is a Techno-commercial role and the candidate will act as the Primary POC for key clients and work with internal departments to ensure that client needs are understood and satisfied. They may assist with making sales, handling client complaints, collecting and analyzing data, and improving the overall customer experience.

    Roles and responsibilities:

    • Responsible for and primary point of contact for developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders
    • Shall liaise between and collaborate with customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects, resolutions of issues, etc.
    • Shall be involved in negotiating contracts, documentation of service/ engagement terms, documentation related to Net-metering applications, CEIG, Subsidy applications and Load Enhancement for projects, etc.
    • Shall communicate clearly and appropriately the progress of projects to internal and external stakeholders
    • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
    • Responsible for Team management, development, and engagement.


    • Mandatory: Candidates with sales, design, project management, client management experience preferably in MSME segment including those from industry segments like: Cables, batteries, UPS, (ENERGY SECTOR) , Telecom will be considered.
    • Educational requirement: Graduation in any discipline. Candidates with an MBA degree would have an advantage.
    • Experience working in Industrial, Commercial, Institutional segments
    • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project.
    • Candidates with People management experience will be preferred.

  • I&C Engineer- C&I

    The I&C Engineer will ensure high quality, seamless execution of C&I rooftop solar projects. This will require executing work in person at client sites as needed and overseeing and managing installers at multiple project locations. Finally, they will also assist with AMC/Service as needed

    Reports to: I&C Manager
    Travel: As per project site
    Roles and responsibilities:

    • Assess and communicate site details accurately to design team
    • Review and approve final design with site layout etc.
    • Communicate these details accurately with the installer and ensure that Freyr’s systems and processes are followed during installation
    • Timely execution with zero errors across all C&I project sites
    • Provide after sales service support, as needed
    • Maintaining of files and documents related to project execution for each client, including sign-offs of documents
    • To provide with up-to-date weekly / fortnightly status report
    • Co-ordinate with local supplier to get the material on time
    • Co-ordinate with local transporter to deliver the material from supplier place to site

    Mandatory Requirements

    • Diploma/ITI / B.E./ B. Tech. (Electrical/Electronics/ Civil/ Mechanical)
    • 2-5 years of experience in solar I&C assignments
    • Knowledge of National Electrical Code, National Occupational standards (NOS) and standard design/construction practices
