Sales Manager will responsible for generating direct and channel Solar PV sales for Freyr Energy. The candidate is also expected to develop channel partner network in their territory.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for sales of Solar PV systems for residential and to an extent Commercial & Industrial client
  • Responsible for meeting Monthly & Quarterly Sales targets
  • Fair understanding of ROI, payback calculation
  • Responsible for collection of receivables and ensure outstanding does not cross 30 days
  • Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments and support team members to deliver on expectations
  • Report on daily basis to AGM Sales on critical parameters related to business
  • Undertaking detailed Site Surveys, generate Techno-Commercial proposal



  • 1-2 yrs experience in Solar PV Sales is mandate (B2B Sales experience preferably in MSME segment including those from industry segments like: Cables, batteries, UPS, Wealth Management, Telecom will be considered)

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Process Net-metering applications, CEIG, Subsidy applications and Load Enhancement for projects across Telangana
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the business, as well as an understanding of how that impacts the other entities of contact
  • Monitor, coordinate, and communicate the strategic objectives of the business

The I&C Engineer will ensure high quality, seamless execution of C&I rooftop solar projects. This will require executing work in person at client sites as needed and overseeing and managing installers at multiple project locations. Finally, they will also assist with AMC/Service as needed.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Assess and communicate site details accurately to design team
  • Review and approve final design with site layout etc.
  • Communicate these details accurately with the installer and ensure that Freyr’s systems and processes are followed during installation
  • Timely execution with zero errors across all C&I project sites
  • Provide after sales service support, as needed
  • Maintaining of files and documents related to project execution for each client, including sign-offs of documents
  • To provide with up-to-date weekly / fortnightly status report
  • Co-ordinate with local supplier to get the material on time
  • Co-ordinate with local transporter to deliver the material from supplier place to site.


Mandatory Requirements:

  • Diploma/ITI / B.E./ B. Tech. (Electrical/Electronics/ Civil/ Mechanical)
  • Hands on experience of 4 to 6 years in solar I&C assignments.
  • Knowledge of installing DG Sync, SCADA and integrating PLC with I/O systems.
  • Good proficiency in Excel, decent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code, National Occupational standards (NOS) and standard design/construction practices

  • Identify, recruit and on-board new channel partners (CP’s) in assigned regions
  • Develop and implement qualifying criteria for CP’s. 
  • Monitor sales performance of CPs and recommend ways to enhance it further
  • Coordinate with other teams e.g., sales, operations, finance to ensure necessary support for CP’s
  • Improve existing CP training program by improving existing modules and creating new content
  • Monitor and report latest developments in marketplace and competitor activities



  • Education Qualification: Graduation in any stream. Engineers/ BBA/ MBA candidate may be preferred
  • Experience3-5 years. Prior experience in building and managing channel sales network is a must. 
  • Background in solar, batteries, inverters etc. is a plus

Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for selling rooftop solar systems in the MSME category for Freyr Energy. The candidate is also expected to develop channel partner network in their territory.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for meeting Monthly & Quarterly Sales targets for rooftop solar system sales in the MSME segment
  • Candidate is expected to generate leads themselves and convert it to orders. In addition, they need to ensure that all marketing leads are followed up.
  • Provide clear explanation to clients about owning solar systems, how it will work technically with the rest of their set-up as well.
  • Ability to explain detailed financial calculations to clients to support purchase of solar system. Return on Investment, Break-Even, Cash flows with and without financing, Accelerated depreciation etc.
  • Generate Techno-Commercial proposal with the help of the design and engineering team
  • Support Operations Team with client and project related information
  • Daily reporting to AGM Sales as per company process
  • Ensure payment from clients is being collected on time against every project milestone



  • Candidates should have B2B Sales experience preferably in MSME segment from the solar sector. Other industry segments such as: Diesel generators, Electrical Panels, Industrial pumps and motors, etc. can also be considered
  • Prior solar experience is a plus
  • Prior experience in building a channel sales network is a plus
