The Engineer is responsible for all on-field activities related to project execution, including but not limited to site survey, installation & maintenance of residential rooftop solar projects.

 

Location: Amravati, Aurangabad, Indore, Kanpur Nagar, Kurnool, Lucknow, Nagpur, Ranga Reddy, Rewa/ Satna, Sangareddy, Kolhapur, Pune – 2, Ratlam/Ujjain

Reports to: Respective State Head

Travel: Extensive

 

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Site Surveys & Design Approvals
    • Assess and communicate site details and measurements accurately to design team. Coordinate & assist the design team in the final design with site layout and all other required details
    • If required, explain the design to the client to expedite approvals.
  • Project Installation
    • Communicate these details accurately with the installer and ensure that Freyr’s systems and processes are followed during installation. Where required, close monitoring of installations will need to be done. Ensure project execution with zero errors across all residential project sites
  • Quality Assessments
    • Primarily responsible for all quality assessments and maintenance activities at the sites in the assigned region for both rooftop & ground-mounted plants.
    • Strict adherence to pre-set parameters at all plants as part of the quality assessment post installation of all sites.
  • Maintenance & After Sales Support
    • Provide after sales service support & maintenance, as required.
    • To ensure proper maintenance by adhering to the assigned maintenance schedule
    • Assigned service requests to be diagnosed to identify the root cause, as well as for an efficient long-term resolution. Trouble shooting, fault findings & root cause analysis.
  • Reporting
    • Maintaining of files and documents related to site surveys, project execution for each client and service reports after service calls.
    • To provide with up-to-date daily work status report via email to reporting manager

 

Mandatory Requirements

  • Diploma/ITI / B.E./ B. Tech. (Electrical/Electronics/ Civil/ Mechanical)
  • 2-3 years’ experience in execution / O&M of solar plants.
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code, National Occupational standards (NOS) and standard design/construction practices
  • Willingness to travel extensively
  • Good oral & written communication skills.

The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for conceptualizing and detailed electrical designs of solar power plants (SPV) for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The candidate will also be responsible to support development, engineering, and construction for SPV ranging from 1kW to 5MW.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Independently create and optimize preliminary conceptual design layouts and schematics for grid-tied photovoltaic power plants and battery storage systems.
  • Assist sales team in interacting with clients and conveying technical details.
  • Coordination with the construction & commissioning team
  • Perform broad range of engineering calculations – and use of software tools
  • Use his/her experience to assist the project team in making design decisions and build consensus within the team.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, project support team and installation teams.
  • Performing Site survey and Assisting site surveys.

 

Mandatory Requirements:

  • BE/BTech. degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (MS/M. Tech. degree is a plus)
  • 2-3 years’ experience in design of solar power systems (1-2 years’ experience in solar rooftop systems)
  • Knowledge in National Electrical Code
  • Knowledge in Electrical/Mechanical and construction safety including training and requirements.
  • Must be proficient in Pvsyst/Helioscope/Aurora (or equivalent) and Google Sketchup.
  • Must be proficient in preparing Bill of Material.

Sales Manager will responsible for generating direct and channel Solar PV sales for Freyr Energy. The candidate is also expected to develop channel partner network in their territory.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for meeting Monthly & Quarterly Sales targets for rooftop solar system sales in the MSME segment
  • Candidate is expected to generate leads themselves and convert it to orders. In addition, they need to ensure that all marketing leads are followed up.
  • Provide clear explanation to clients about owning solar systems, how it will work technically with the rest of their set-up as well.
  • Ability to explain detailed financial calculations to clients to support purchase of solar Return on Investment, Break-Even, Cash flows with and without financing, Accelerated depreciation etc.
  • Generate Techno-Commercial proposal with the help of the design and engineering team
  • Support Operations Team with client and project related information
  • Daily reporting to AGM Sales as per company process
  • Ensure payment from clients is being collected on time against every project milestone

Requirements

  • Candidates should have B2B Sales experience preferably in MSME segment from any industry vertical will be considered.

Solar Sales Specialist will be responsible for meeting the monthly residential rooftop solar system sales target.

The Experience Centre Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations of all current and upcoming Solar Experience Centres across India. This role requires strategic planning, frequent travel for store location identification and operational assessment, and coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth store operations. The candidate will also manage manpower recruitment and training, as well as plan and execute offline and local promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
